So Rich over at FourFour designed these brilliant shirts for Neighborhoodies. I'm such a geek, I bought the awesome Team Winston shirt (asphalt shirt, baby blue screen, if you're interested), and I wore it out the day after I received it (again, geek).
The day in question happened to be the Friday of Mount Vicious's first show, and the first time I saw and fell in love with the Ex-Boyfriends (and, P.S., Comcast? Can I please have the LOGO channel? Because the Ex-Boyfriends video that is debuting on 11/30 is relevant to my interests. As is a lot of the programming. Further, is it possible to run Velvet Goldmine on a channel that is not LOGO if you will not give me LOGO itself?).
Anyway, after the show, I skipped over to buy the Ex-BF's two records and had a pleasant, if brief, dalliance with Chriso, the drummer. As I was walking away, he stopped me and asked "Is that a Winston t-shirt you're wearing?" I turned around, agape, and said "Yeah, yeah it is. You know Winston? You read FourFour??" And thus began a breathless chat about how hot Rich is, and how Winston is like the Wilford Brimley of the feline world.
I mention this because today Rich posted what is, sadly, the last ANTM recap for a few months; at the end he wrote, "For those who won't be back till the next cycle: see you next cycle." and it reminded me of all the reasons that I love FourFour. And I got jellybagged in an ANTM post. He also blogs over at VH1 and throws ONTD into a tizzy.
